(25) 24­0264 The Council may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section No. 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the case entitled Ben Katz v. City of Los Angeles, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 21STCV11397. (This matter arises from a June 19, 2020 incident involving an alleged defect in a crosswalk at Santa Monica Boulevard and Westwood Boulevard in the City of Los Angeles.) (Budget, Finance and Innovation Committee considered this matter on March 20, 2024.)
