(30) 24­0386 CD 6 TRADE, TRAVEL AND TOURISM COMMITTEE REPORT relative to instructing the Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) to evaluate certain corridors in Council District 6 for Jobs and Economic Incentive (JEDI) Zone programs. Recommendation for Council action: DIRECT the EWDD to evaluate the following areas as a JEDI Zone and report to Council with findings and recommendations on creation of the zones: a. Van Nuys Boulevard, between Calvert Street and Sherman Way b. Sunland Boulevard/Vineland Avenue, between La Tuna Canyon Road and Strathern Street c. Parthenia Street, between Sepulveda Boulevard and Van Nuys Boulevard Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
