Recommendation for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: Friday APPROVE the- following April 26, 2024 - adjusted per­person limits inPAGE LAUSD 50elections on contributions, loans, and cash contributions, effective with the regular (47) 12­0302 RULES, ELECTIONS, AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to Charter Section 803(c) adjustments to Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) contribution limits. Recommendation for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: APPROVE the following adjusted per­person limits in LAUSD elections on contributions, loans, and cash contributions, effective with the regular 2026 LAUSD elections (or with an earlier special election for which the fundraising limit has not yet opened), as detailed in the March 1, 2024 City Ethics Commission report, attached to the Council File: a. Contributions (per person, per election): $1500 b. Loans (per person, per election): $1500 c. Cash Contributions (per person, per election): $40 d. Anonymous Contributions (in total, per election): $300 Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the City Ethics Commission. Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
