(53) 24­0423 COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE CITY ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (CAO) and CITY ATTORNEY, and ORDINANCE FIRST CONSIDERATION relative to amending Section 4.900.1 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code to provide for updated Schedule B classification and Memorandum of Understanding listings, and salary adjustments for certain non­ represented classifications employed in the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP). Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: 1. PRESENT and ADOPT the accompanying ORDINANCE, dated March 28, 2024, approved as to form and legality by the City Attorney, amending Section 4.900.1 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code to provide for updated Schedule “B” classification and Memorandum of Understanding listings, and increase the base wage salaries of certain non­represented classifications employed in the LADWP, as follows: Friday - April 26, 2024 - PAGE 54 a. 2.0 percent effective June 20, 2022 THE MAYOR: 1. PRESENT and ADOPT the accompanying ORDINANCE, dated March 28, 2024, approved as to form and legality by the City Attorney, amending Section 4.900.1 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code to provide for updated Schedule “B” classification and Memorandum of Understanding listings, and increase the base wage salaries of certain non­represented classifications employed in the LADWP, as follows: a. 2.0 percent effective June 20, 2022 b. 2.0 percent effective January 30, 2023 c. 1.5 percent effective June 19, 2023 2. AUTHORIZE the Controller and the CAO to correct any clerical or technical errors in said Ordinance. Fiscal Impact Statement: The CAO reports that the General Fund will not be impacted. Any increase in salary costs for non­represented classifications will be absorbed within budgeted funds by the LADWP.
