(26) 140231 CD 15 ADMINISTRATIVE EXEMPTION and COMMUNICATION FROM THE BOARD OF HARBOR COMMISSIONERS (BOARD) relative to a proposed First Amendment to Agreement No. 193626 between the Port of Los Angeles (POLA) and Leidos, Inc., to extend the term and increase the contract amount, for continuation of Air Quality Monitoring and other Services located in Wilmington and San Pedro. Recommendations for Council action: 1. ADOPT the determination by the Board that the proposed action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) purusant to Article II, Section 2(f) of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines. 2. APPROVE Board Resolution No. 2410319 for the proposed First Amendment to Agreement No. 193626 between the POLA and Leidos, Inc., to extend the contract term from March 21, 2024 to December 31, 2024 and add $444,316.30 to increase the total not toexceed contract amount from $3,309,494 to $3,753,810.30, for continuation of air quality monitoring services for the four POLA air quality monitoring stations located in San Pedro and Wilmington. Fiscal Impact Statement: The City Administrative Officer reports that approval of the proposed Amendment to Agreement No. 193626 Tuesday - May 28, between the POLA and2024 - Leidos, PAGE Inc. will authorize 26 an increase of $444,316.30 for a new total maximum contract amount of $3,753,810.30 Amendment to Agreement No. 193626 between the POLA and Leidos, Inc., to extend the contract term from March 21, 2024 to December 31, 2024 and add $444,316.30 to increase the total not toexceed contract amount from $3,309,494 to $3,753,810.30, for continuation of air quality monitoring services for the four POLA air quality monitoring stations located in San Pedro and Wilmington. Fiscal Impact Statement: The City Administrative Officer reports that approval of the proposed Amendment to Agreement No. 193626 between the POLA and Leidos, Inc. will authorize an increase of $444,316.30 for a new total maximum contract amount of $3,753,810.30 for air quality monitoring and other services. Total funding for Fiscal Year (FY) 20232024 of $111,079 is available in Account 54260 (Environmental Assessment Services), Center 330, Program 000. Funding for FY 20242025 of $333,237.30 is being requested through the annual budget process and is contingent upon the Board's appropriation of funds. If any subsequent fiscal year funds are not appropriated by the Board for the work required by the proposed Amendment, the Agreement shall be terminated. Such termination shall not relieve the parties of liability for any obligations previously incurred. The recommendations in the report and proposed actions comply with the Department's Financial Policies. There is no impact on the City's General Fund.
