(10) 24­0628 CD 8 COMMUNICATION FROM THE CITY ENGINEER relative to initiating vacation proceedings for Victoria Avenue from approximately 330 feet to approximately 430 feet southerly of 67th Street (VAC­E1401431). Recommendations for Council action: 1. ADOPT the City Engineer report dated May 29, 2024, attached to the Council file, to initiate the vacation proceedings to vacate Victoria Avenue from approximately 330 feet to approximately 430 feet southerly of 67th Street, as shown on Exhibit A of said City Engineer report, pursuant to California Streets and Highways Code, Division 9, Part 3, Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law. 2. DIRECT the Bureau of Engineering to investigate and report regarding the feasibility of this vacation request. Fiscal Impact Statement: The City Engineer reports that a deposit of $14,980 was paid by the petitioner for the investigation of this request pursuant to Section 7.42 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code (LAAC).
