(33) 24­0011­S19 CD 12 MOTION (LEE ­ DE LEON) relative to funding for graffiti and weed abatement services in Council District 12 coordinated by the West Valley Alliance for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. Recommendation for Council action: DIRECT the City Clerk to place on the Council Agenda for July 1, 2024, or soon thereafter as possible, the following recommendations for adoption: a. Transfer and appropriate $87,000 in the Council District 12 portion of the Street Furniture Revenue Fund No. 43D/50, to No. 100/74, Account No. 3040 (Contractual Services), for graffiti and weed abatement Alliance for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. Recommendation for Council action: DIRECT the City Clerk to place on the Council Agenda for July 1, 2024, or soon thereafter as possible, the following recommendations for adoption: a. Transfer and appropriate $87,000 in the Council District 12 portion of the Street Furniture Revenue Fund No. 43D/50, to the Public Works Fund No. 100/74, Account No. 3040 (Contractual Services), for graffiti and weed abatement services in Council District 12 coordinated by the West Valley Alliance for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. b. Transfer and appropriate $43,000 in the Sunshine Canyon Community Amenities Trust Fund No. 699 to the Public Works Fund No. 100/74, Account No. 3040 (Contractual Services), for graffiti and weed abatement services in Council District 12 coordinated by the West Valley Alliance for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. c. Instruct and authorize the Department of Public Works to prepare, process and execute the necessary documents with and/or payments to the West Valley Alliance, or any other agency or organization, as appropriate, utilizing the above amount, for the above purpose, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form. d. Authorize the Department of Public Works to make any corrections, clarifications or revisions to the above fund transfer instructions, including any new instructions, in order to effectuate the intent of this Motion, and including any corrections and changes to fund or account numbers; said corrections / clarifications / changes may be made orally, electronically or by any other means.
