(12) 24­0479 CD 8 PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to declaring the property located at 8873 South Broadway a public nuisance as the result of the presence of illegal dumping and abandoned vehicles. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Harris­ Dawson – McOsker): RESOLVE, pursuant to Section 7.35.2(c) of the Los Angeles Administrative Code (LAAC), to: a. Declare the property located at 8873 South Broadway (APN 6040025013) a Public Nuisance as the result of the presence of illegal dumping and abandoned vehicles. b. Direct the Board of Public Works (BPW) to expedite the issuances of appropriate notices and documentation that may be necessary to effectuate the abatement of the nuisance at 8873 South Broadway. c. Direct the BPW, or its designees, to proceed with the abatement process, as may be necessary, and, pursuant to Section 7.35.3 of the LAAC, invoice the property owner for all and any abatement costs incurred by the City.
