(74) 21­0647­S2 TRADE, TRAVEL AND TOURISM COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the Workforce Development Board (WDB) / Local Elected Officials (LEO) Two­Year Agreement. Recommendations for Council action: 1. AUTHORIZE the Mayor and Council President to execute the WDB/LEO Agreement, which will become effective July 1, 2024. Tuesday 2. INSTRUCT the Economic - July 2, 2024 - and Workforce Development PAGE Department 59 to provide quarterly updates to Council demonstrating the fulfillment Workforce Development Board (WDB) / Local Elected Officials (LEO) Two­Year Agreement. Recommendations for Council action: 1. AUTHORIZE the Mayor and Council President to execute the WDB/LEO Agreement, which will become effective July 1, 2024. 2. INSTRUCT the Economic and Workforce Development Department to provide quarterly updates to Council demonstrating the fulfillment of all obligations of the WDB/LEO Agreement, including but not limited to the Annual Plan, Mid­Year Report, and Los Angeles Regional Planning Unit Report. 3. INSTRUCT the Chief Legislative Analyst (CLA), in consultation with the Mayor, City Attorney, and WDB, to revise the WDB/LEO Agreement to evaluate appointment procedures, donation policies, and other relevant elements as needed. 4. ADOPT the Revised WDB/LEO Two­Year Agreement, attached to the Council file. Fiscal Impact Statement: The CLA reports that approval of the above recommendations will have no impact on the General Fund.
