Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Harris­ Dawson – McOsker): RESOLVE, pursuant to Section 7.35.2(c) of the Los Angeles Tuesday Administrative Code - July (LAAC), 30, 2024to: - PAGE 25 (43) 24­0480 CD 8 CONTINUED CONSIDERATION OF PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to declaring the property located at 3762 Normandie Avenue a public nuisance as the result of the presence of illegal dumping, encampments, and other illicit activities. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Harris­ Dawson – McOsker): RESOLVE, pursuant to Section 7.35.2(c) of the Los Angeles Administrative Code (LAAC), to: a. Declare the property located at 3762 Normandie Avenue (APN 5040012029) a Public Nuisance as the result of the presence of illegal dumping, encampments, and other illicit activities. b. Direct the Board of Public Works (BPW) to expedite the issuances of appropriate notices and documentation that may be necessary to effectuate the abatement of the nuisance at 3762 Normandie Avenue. c. Direct the BPW, or its designees, to proceed with the abatement process, as may be necessary, and, pursuant to Section 7.35.3 of the LAAC, invoice the property owner for all and any abatement costs incurred by the City. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
