(51) 24­0797 CD 12 MOTION (LEE ­ BLUMENFIELD) relative to funding from the Sunshine Canyon Community Amenities Trust Fund for additional police services to be used by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Valley Traffic Division within Council District 12. Recommendations for Council action: 1. RESOLVE that $50,000 in the Sunshine Canyon Community Amenities Trust Fund No. 699/14 be transferred and appropriated to the LAPD Fund No. 100/70, Account No. 1092 (Overtime ­ Police Officers), to be used by Valley Traffic Division for additional police services within Council District 12. 2. TRANSFER and APPROPRIATE $50,000 from the Council District 12 portion of the Neighborhood Service Enhancements line item General City Purposes Fund No. 100/56, to the LAPD Fund No. 100/70, Account No. 1092 (Overtime ­ Police Officers), to be used by Valley Traffic Division for additional police services within Council District 12. 3. AUTHORIZE the LAPD and City Clerk to make any corrections or clarifications to the above instructions in order to effectuate the intent of this motion.
