(52) 24­0799 MOTION (RODRIGUEZ ­ LEE) relative to the acceptance of in­kind and cash donations for the 2nd Annual Camp ReadyLA program hosted by the Tuesday - July 30, 2024 Emergency Management - Department PAGE (EMD) from July 49August 2, 29 to 3. AUTHORIZE the LAPD and City Clerk to make any corrections or clarifications to the above instructions in order to effectuate the intent of this motion. (52) 24­0799 MOTION (RODRIGUEZ ­ LEE) relative to the acceptance of in­kind and cash donations for the 2nd Annual Camp ReadyLA program hosted by the Emergency Management Department (EMD) from July 29 to August 2, 2024, at the City’s Emergency Operations Center. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: 1. AUTHORIZE the General Manager, EMD, or designee, to accept in­ kind and cash donations on behalf of the City in support of the 2024 Camp ReadyLA program for an amount not to exceed $25,000, and to deposit donated funds into EMD Fund No. 100/35, Donations & Contributions Revenue Source No. 5102, and appropriate therefrom to EMD Fund No. 100/35, Office and Administrative Account No. 006010, for expenditures associated with the 2024 Camp ReadyLA program. 2. INSTRUCT the EMD to provide a detailed list of in­kind and cash donations to the City Council prior to the event.
