(55) 24­0802 CD 14 MOTION (DE LEON ­ PADILLA) relative to funding and a contract amendment with Los Angeles Neighborhood Initiative (LANI) to accelerate sidewalk maintenance and repairs in Council District 14. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: 1. TRANSFER and APPROPRIATE $750,000 from the Council District 14 Public Benefits Trust Fund No. 57L/14, Account No. 140001, and $250,000 from Council District 14 AB 1290 Funds from Non­Departmental ­ Capital Improvement Expense Program Fund No. 100/54, Account No. 00W908 (Council District 14 Community Improvements), to Department of Public Works, Office of Community Beautification, Fund 100/74, Account 3040, Contractual Services to fund a sidewalk repair program for damaged sidewalks in Council District 14. 2. AUTHORIZE the Board of Public Works to amend the contract with LANI for $1,000,000 for sidewalk repair and beautification services in Council District 14. 3. AUTHORIZE the Office of Community Beautification to make any technical changes in order to effectuate the intent of this Motion.
