(3) 23­0547­S1 TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the proposed contract with Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. to provide as­ needed hazardous material disposal services to 37 Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) facilities. Recommendation for Council action: AUTHORIZE the General Manager, LADOT, to execute a contract with Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. to provide as­needed hazardous material disposal services to 37 LADOT facilities for a five­ year term from November 1, 2023 through October 31, 2028, with two three­year extension options, subject to City Attorney review and approval as to form, and total compensation to not exceed $300,000 for the entire term of the contract. Fiscal Impact Statement: The City Administrative Officer (CAO) reports that there is no additional anticipated direct General Fund impact for the agreement. Funding for this agreement has been authorized in LADOT’s 2023­24 and 2024­25 Adopted Budgets.
