(13) 24­0791 CD 15 GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to authority to negotiate and execute a license agreement with the Children’s Institute of Watts (CIW), a California non­profit public benefit corporation, for office space located at 10200 Success Avenue, Los Angeles, California 90002 in Council District 15. Recommendation for Council action: AUTHORIZE the Department of General Services to negotiate and execute a no­cost license agreement with the CIW at 10200 Success Avenue, Los Angeles, California 90002, for an on­site office for the Los Angeles Police Department’s Community Safety Partnership Bureau, under the terms and conditions substantially outlined in the July 1, 2024 Municipal Facilities Committee (MFC) report, attached to the Council file. Fiscal Impact Statement: The MFC reports that there is no impact to the General Fund as this is a no­cost facility use agreement. The CIW will be responsible for all maintenance, janitorial, HVAC, utilities, internet, and trash removal. No parking is provided under this facility use agreement.
