(14) 24­0788 CD 1 NEIGHBORHOODS AND COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the boathouse rehabilitation portion of the specified scope defined for the Proposition K ­ L.A. For Kids MacArthur Park Project. Recommendation for Council action: DETERMINE that the boathouse rehabilitation portion of the scope defined for the MacArthur Park Project (R20), as specified in the 1996 Proposition K Ballot Measure and described as “Refurbish Boathouse, Recreation Building, Signal Building and Bandshell, Fencing and Edge Treatment”, is infeasible inasmuch as the boathouse has been demolished making its refurbishment infeasible. Fiscal Impact Statement: The L.A. For Kids Steering Committee reports that the requested infeasibility finding will have no negative impact on the General Fund. At this time, there are no project savings anticipated from this infeasibility finding, and additional funds in excess of the amount allocated in the Ballot Measure have been allocated to this Project in the estimated amount of $2,167,444.
