(29) 24­1006 COMMUNICATION FROM THE BOARD OF WATER AND POWER COMMISSIONERS relative to Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 47525 between the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) and Kiewit Infrastructure West Company for Progressive Design­Build Services for the San Fernando Groundwater Basin Remediation Project, and related matters. Recommendation for Council action: APPROVE Board Resolution No. 025­032, attached to the Council file, which approves Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 47525 between the LADWP and Kiewit Infrastructure West Company for Progressive Design­ Build Services for the San Fernando Groundwater Basin Remediation Project. Fiscal Impact Statement: The City Administrative Officer (CAO) reports that the approval of the proposed amendment to Agreement No. 47525 between the LADWP and Kiewit Infrastructure West Company for progressive design­build services for the San Fernando Groundwater Basin will have no impact on the General Fund. The Agreement will be extended for one additional year, for a total of six years. The total maximum contract amount of $495 million remains unchanged and is budgeted within the LADWP Water Revenue Fund for this purpose. The recommended action complies with LADWP’s adopted Financial Policies.
