(1) 18­0610­S3 HOUSING AND HOMELESSNESS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to adding Article 6 to Chapter XVI of the Los Angeles Municipal Code to establish a City Funded Counsel for Tenants Program. Recommendation for Council action: REQUEST the City Attorney to prepare and present a revised Ordinance to amend the draft Ordinance dated April 9, 2024, entitled “An ordinance adding Article 6 City Funded Counsel For Tenants Ordinance”, attached to Council file No. 18­0610­S3, within the next 30 days, with amendments as contained within the communication from Councilmember Nithya Raman dated August 7, 2024, attached to said Council file. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the City Attorney. Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
