(6) 24­1001 PERSONNEL, AUDITS, AND HIRING COMMITTEE REPORT relative to WorkSource Center services. Recommendation for Council action, as initiated by Motion (McOsker – Hernandez): INSTRUCT the Personnel Department and Economic Workforce and Development Department to report to Council with a review of the services offered at each WorkSource Center, identifying the programs (6) 24­1001 PERSONNEL, AUDITS, AND HIRING COMMITTEE REPORT relative to WorkSource Center services. Recommendation for Council action, as initiated by Motion (McOsker – Hernandez): INSTRUCT the Personnel Department and Economic Workforce and Development Department to report to Council with a review of the services offered at each WorkSource Center, identifying the programs that are most popular and effective, as well as present best practices to achieve the highest results for their clients, including a breakdown of each Workforce Center Program, how many applicants are in each category, how many applicants were placed in a job and, of those who were placed in a job, how many were placed through the Target Local Hiring or Bridge to Jobs Programs. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
