(53) 24­0955 The Council may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section No. 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the case entitled Ernesto Marquez, et al. v. City of Los Angeles, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 22STCV19318. (This matter arises from the June 30, 2021, incident in which the Los Angeles Police Department Bomb Squad detonated explosive material.) (Budget, Finance and Innovation Committee considered this matter on September 11, 2024.)
