(16) 24­0008­S22 CD 14 TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REPORT relative to establishing oversize vehicle parking restrictions along both sides of certain street segments of Rock Glen Avenue, Alhambra Avenue, Mission Road, Florizel Street, etc., in Council District 14. Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (de Leon – Park): RESOLVE to: 1.  PROHIBIT, pursuant to Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 80.69.4 and the California Vehicle Code Section 22507, the parking of vehicles that are in excess of 22 feet in length or over seven feet in height, during the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., along both sides of the following street segments: a.  Rock Glen Avenue between Delaware Avenue and Sierra Villa Drive - October 1, 2024 - RESOLVE to: 1.  PROHIBIT, pursuant to Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 80.69.4 and the California Vehicle Code Section 22507, the parking of vehicles that are in excess of 22 feet in length or over seven feet in height, during the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., along both sides of the following street segments: a.  Rock Glen Avenue between Delaware Avenue and Sierra Villa Drive b.  Alhambra Avenue between Sichel Street and Workman Street c.  Mission Road between Selig Place and Main Street d.  Alhambra Avenue between Lowell Avenue and Valley Boulevard e.  Florizel Street between Boundary Avenue and McKenzie Avenue f.  McKenzie Avenue between Florizel Street and Mercury Avenue g.  Mercury Avenue between Huntington Drive North and Reynolds Avenue h.  Bridge Street between East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue and North State Street i.  Echandia Street from East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue around the entirety of Prospect Park j.  North Boyle Avenue from 1st Street to East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue k.  South Lorena Street from South Grand Vista Avenue to East Olympic Boulevard l.  East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue from Pleasant Avenue to North State Street m.  North Lorena Street from East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue to 1st Street n North Marianna Avenue from Worth Street to Valley Boulevard - October 1, 2024 - k.  South Lorena Street from South Grand Vista Avenue to East Olympic Boulevard l.  East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue from Pleasant Avenue to North State Street m.  North Lorena Street from East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue to 1st Street n.  North Marianna Avenue from Worth Street to Valley Boulevard o.  Bailey Street from North State Street to Cummings Street p.  City View Avenue from North State Street to North Saint Louis Street q.  Sheridan Street from North State Street to North Saint Louis Street r.  East Olympic Boulevard from Rio Vista Avenue to South Indiana Street 2.  DIRECT the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), upon the adoption of this Resolution, to post signs giving notice of a “tow away, no parking” restriction for oversize vehicles, with the specific hours detailed, at the above locations. 3.  AUTHORIZE the LADOT to make technical corrections or clarifications to the above instructions in order to effectuate the intent of this Resolution. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report. Community Impact Statement: None submitted.
