(20) 20­1469­S1 TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REPORT relative to existing and/or proposed policies and procedures to notify and protect users during the temporary closure of active transportation facilities (sidewalks, off­street paths, and Class II and Class IV Bicycle Lanes). Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Raman – Soto­ Martinez): INSTRUCT the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, with support from the Bureau of Engineering and the Bureau of Street Services, to report within 90 days with existing and/or proposed policies and procedures to notify and protect users during the temporary closure of active transportation facilities (sidewalks, off­street paths, and Class II and Class IV Bicycle Lanes), including notification, signage, equivalent facility and/or safe detour requirements. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
