(6) 21­0717­S3 CIVIL RIGHTS, EQUITY, IMMIGRATION, AGING AND DISABILITY COMMITTEE REPORT relative to a guaranteed income program targeting individuals experiencing Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and Transitional Age Youth (TAY). Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Price, et al. ­ Raman, et al.): 1.  INSTRUCT the Community Investment for Families Department (CIFD) to report to Council with recommendations and program parameters for a $4 – 5 million guaranteed income program, - October 1, 2024 - CIVIL RIGHTS, EQUITY, IMMIGRATION, AGING AND DISABILITY COMMITTEE REPORT relative to a guaranteed income program targeting individuals experiencing Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and Transitional Age Youth (TAY). Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Price, et al. ­ Raman, et al.): 1.  INSTRUCT the Community Investment for Families Department (CIFD) to report to Council with recommendations and program parameters for a $4 – 5 million guaranteed income program, specifically targeting individuals experiencing IPV, and TAY; the report should also include information on other guaranteed income pilots, including Chicago which is pairing guaranteed income with transitional housing resources. 2.  INSTRUCT the CIFD, with assistance of the City Administrative Officer (CAO) and Chief Legislative Analyst (CLA), to report to Council on potential funding sources for the program, including Council Office discretionary resources and Homeless Housing Assistance and Prevention funding.
