(26) 24­0212 The Council may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section No. 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the case entitled Bird Global, Inc., et al. v. City of Los Angeles, et al., United States Bankruptcy Court Southern District of Florida, Miami Division, Case No. 23­20514­CLC. (This matter arises from the bankruptcy of a dockless scooter company and the liabilities associated with operation of the scooters on City of Los Angeles streets.) (Budget, Finance and Innovation Committee considered this matter on October 9, 2024.)
