3-K. 2023 SLURRY SEAL AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS – AWARD OF CONTRACT\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Authorizing the City Manager to execute a public works contract, in a form approved by\nthe City Attorney, with Onyx Paving Company Inc. of Anaheim, CA in the contract amount\nof $727,000 for the 2023 Slurry Seal at Various Locations;\n(2) Authorizing the Director of Public Works to approve change orders and contingency up to\n$109,050, or 15% of the contract amount;\n(3) Appropriating $486,646 from Street Bond Fund 621 to FY 22-23 for Project No. 96030;\nand\n(4) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.\nCEQA (California Environmental Quality Act):\nSince the proposed work is a minor alteration to an existing public facility, this project is Class 1\nCategorically Exempt pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).\n[4.] PUBLIC HEARING
