3-J. PIPE SUPPLY PURCHASE FOR PHASE III WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT –\nAWARD OF CONTRACT TO PPI AMERICA INC.\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract, in a form approved by the City\nAttorney, with PPI America Inc. in an amount not to exceed $165,000 for pipe supplies for\nthe Phase III Water Main Replacement Project; and\n(2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.\nCEQA (California Environmental Quality Act):\nThe Project is Categorically Exempt as a Class 1 (Existing Facilities) project (CEQA Guidelines\n§ 15301). Additional environmental review is not required because the Project is a minor\nalteration to an existing public facility.
