(12) 24­0096­S1 TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REPORT relative to an agreement with Sterndahl Enterprises for the provision of pavement markings, striping, slurry sealing, and other preservation program services. Recommendation for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), or designee, to: a.  Execute a contract with Sterndahl Enterprises, included as Attachment 1 of the LADOT report dated October 29, 2024, attached to the Council file, for the provision of pavement markings, striping, slurry sealing, and other pavement preservation program services, for a period of one year from the date of attestation, with four one­year extension options, for an amount not to exceed $8,000,000. b.  Prepare Controller instructions and make any necessary technical adjustments that are consistent with the Mayor and Council actions on this matter, subject to the approval of the City Administrative Officer (CAO); and, AUTHORIZE the Controller to implement those instructions. Fiscal Impact Statement: The LADOT reports that there is no impact on the General Fund. The provision of pavement markings, striping, slurry sealing, and other pavement preservation program services are paid for with funding allocated in the annual Adopted Budget.
