(14) 25-0107 GOVERNMENT EFFICIENCY, INNOVATION, AND AUDITS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to auditing key functions of City departments and offices to identify duplication of services in non-Charter mandated departments. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Rodriguez – Harris- Dawson): REQUEST the Controller, with the assistance of the Chief Legislative Analyst (CLA) and all departments, to audit City departments’ and offices’ key functions and identify any duplication or overlap of services that may exist in non-charter mandated departments, and report the findings to the Government, Efficiency, Innovation, and Audits Committee. This audit should differentiate services that are special funded and services that are General Fund funded. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the CLA has completed a financial analysis of this report.
