(14) 24-0765 BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMITTEE REPORT relative to a report on all existing City online budget engagement tools and provide a plan with recommendations to modernize the City's digital platforms. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Hernandez – Yaroslavsky): INSTRUCT the City Administrative Officer (CAO), with assistance of the Chief Legislative Analyst (CLA), Community Investment for Families Department, Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department, Department of Neighborhood Empowerment, Controller, City Clerk, and any relevant departments, to report to Council within 90 days on all existing City online budget engagement tools, including but not limited to, databases, surveys, training, websites, presentations, and methods for collecting public input, and provide a plan with recommendations to modernize the City's digital platforms and integrate community surveys, data collection strategies, data visualization, and online tools for the budget. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the CAO nor the CLA has completed a financial analysis of this report.
