(12) 25-0006-S69 CD 11 ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to recent and relevant data on ocean water quality conditions, testing and guidance to ensure the health and safety of the public and the well-being of the beaches and marine life from the hazardous debris created by the Palisades Fire. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Park – Nazarian): INSTRUCT the Bureau of Sanitation, and REQUEST both the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and Department of Beaches and Harbors, to present before the Council the most recent and relevant data on ocean water quality conditions, testing and guidance to ensure the health and safety of the public and the well-being of the beaches and marine life from the hazardous debris created by the Palisades Fire. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
