(3) 25-0141 CD 15 TRANSPORTATION and ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEES’ REPORT relative to the feasibility of enacting a City program to address local air quality challenges, and related matters. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (McOsker – Yaroslavsky): INSTRUCT the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, with the assistance of the Port of Los Angeles, Wilmington Neighborhood Council, and other important stakeholders, to report to Council on the feasibility of enacting a program in Los Angeles, whether geographically focused or to be implemented citywide, similar to New York City’s 2017 Citizens Air Complaint Program, to address local air quality challenges. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
