SCULPTURE AT COMMUNITY DEMONSTRATION GARDEN\n(REPORT OF: PARKS AND COMMUNITY SERVICES) (DISTRICT 1)\nRequest to Review and Consider the Art Commission’s Approval of Public Art\nRequest for Funding Application- Juan Carlos Hernandez-Marquez Jr. Sculpture at\nthe Community Demonstration Garden\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council and CSD:\n1. Receive and file the artist presentation; and\n2. Review and consider the Art Commission's approval of Public Art Request for\nFunding Application from Juan Carlos Hernandez-Marquez Jr. for the creation and\ninstallation of Silly Sunflower sculpture at the Community Demonstration Garden; and\n3. Authorize the Executive Director and or its designee to enter into an agreement\nfor services with the approved applicant utilizing funding from DIF Public Art Fund\n3316.
