(18)\n25-0975\nBUDGET\nAND\nFINANCE\nand\nTRANSPORTATION\nCOMMITTEES’ REPORTS and RESOLUTION relative to the Fiscal\nYear (FY) 2025-26 State of Good Repair (SGR) Program grant\napplication for electrical charging infrastructure at the Department of\nTransportation (DOT) Washington Bus Yard.\nA. TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REPORT\nRecommendations for Council action:\n1. AUTHORIZE the General Manager, DOT, or designee, to\napply for and accept funds in the amount of $1,167,063\nfor the SGR Program on behalf of the City for bus\nelectrification at the Washington Bus Yard.\n2. AUTHORIZE the General Manager or Chief of Transit\nPrograms, DOT, to execute any necessary funding and\ncontractual documents, subject to the approval of the City\nAttorney as to form and legality, for accepting SGR funds.\n3. ADOPT the accompanying RESOLUTION, attached to the\nCouncil file, as required by the California Department of\nTransportation, authorizing the execution of the\ncertifications and assurances for the SGR Program project\nElectrification of the DOT Washington Ave Bus\nMaintenance Facility (SGR Project ID No. 2019-5006003).\nB. BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMITTEE REPORT\nRecommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE\nAPPROVAL OF THE MAYOR:\n1. CONCUR with the Transportation Committee to approve\nthe DOT’s recommendations.\n2. AMEND Recommendation No. 2 to:\na. Authorize the General Manager or Chief of Transit\nPrograms, DOT, to execute any necessary funding\nand contractual documents for accepting State of\nGood Repair funds, subject to the approval of the\nCity Attorney as to form and legality, and the review\nand approval of the City Administrative Officer.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The DOT reports that there is no impact to\nthe General Fund because the grant does not require a local match.\nThe DOT will rely on Proposition A Account 94SA20 and 94CA20\nFacility Upgrades for Electrification and MICLA Account No. 94AL06\nWashington Bus Yard Electrification for front funds to be reimbursed\nby the FY 2025-26 SGR funds. Neither the City Administrative Officer\nnor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of\nthis report.
