(19)\n20-1015-S4\nBUDGET AND FINANCE and TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEES’\nREPORTS and RESOLUTION relative to accepting the Fiscal Year\n(FY) 2025-26 annual allocation of Senate Bill (SB) 1 State Transit\nAssistance (STA) transit funding.\nA. TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REPORT\nRecommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE\nAPPROVAL OF THE MAYOR:\n1. AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Department of\nTransportation (DOT), or designee, to apply for and\naccept up to $3,104,944 in FY 2025-26 STA SB 1 program\nfunds and execute any necessary agreements and\ncontractual documents with the Los Angeles County\nMetropolitan Transportation Authority on behalf of the\nCalifornia Department of Transportation, subject to the\napproval of the City Attorney as to form and legality.\n2. ADOPT the accompanying RESOLUTION, attached to the\nCouncil file, as required for SB1 STA funding.\nB. BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMITTEE REPORT\nRecommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE\nAPPROVAL OF THE MAYOR:\n1. CONCUR with the Transportation Committee to approve\nthe DOT’s recommendations.\n2. AMEND Recommendation No. 2 to:\n\na. Authorize the General Manager, DOT, or their\ndesignee to apply for and accept up to $3,104,944 in\nFY 2025-2026 STA SB1 program funds and execute\nany necessary agreements and contractual\ndocuments with the Los Angeles County\nMetropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) on\nbehalf of Caltrans, subject to the approval of the City\nAttorney as to form and legality, and the review and\napproval of the City Administrative Officer.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The DOT reports that there is no impact to\nthe General Fund. SB1 STA funds will be deposited in the Proposition\nA Fund 385, Revenue Source Code 3361, State Grants – Other.
