9.\nFirst Amendment\nAward Construction Contract to American Asphalt South, Inc. for the Citywide Slurry Seal,\nPW25-06\nRecommendation:\nThat the City Council:\n1. Award a construction contract to American Asphalt South, Inc. in the\namount of $1,068,054.30 for the Citywide Slurry Seal, PW25-06; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to approve construction contract change\norders not to exceed the contingency amount of $534,027.15, which is\nequal to 50% of the contract amount; and\n3. Make a finding that the Citywide Slurry Seal, PW25-06 is exempt from\nMultiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan fees.\nAttachments:
