9H.\nAWARD OF CONSTRUCTION FOR THE CITYWIDE STREET SIGN REPLACEMENT\nPROJECT (PHASE 2) (TASK CODE NO. 2022-102)\nThree bids for the Citywide Street Sign Replacement Project (Phase 2) were opened on\nSeptember 30, 2025. Based on the post-bid analysis of the bids received, staff have\ndetermined the bid submitted by Square Signs LLC dba Front Signs to be the lowest\nresponsible and responsive bid at $173,910.00.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council find that this project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (“CEQA”), Class 2, Section 15302 as replacement of existing structures and\nfacilities; and\n2. Award a construction contract for the Citywide Street Sign Replacement Project\n(Phase 2) to Square Signs LLC dba Front Signs for the bid amount of $173,910.00\nand reject all other bids; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to bind the City of Stanton and Square Signs LLC dba\nFront Signs in a contract for the construction; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager to approve contract change orders, not to exceed\n$17,391.00.
