7.1\nINTRODUCE ORDINANCE NO. 572 AMENDING TITLE 8 OF THE\nTOWN OF APPLE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING\nCHAPTERS 8.10, 8.12, 8.16, 8.18, 8.21, 8.22, AND 8.26, ADOPTING AS\nMODIFIED THE 2025 EDITION OF THE CALIFORNIA BUILDING CODE\nVOLUMES 1, 2 INCLUDING THE\nAPPENDIX AND STANDARDS, THE 2025 EDITION OF THE\nCALIFORNIA ELECTRICAL CODE, THE 2025 EDITION OF THE\nCALIFORNIA PLUMBING CODE, THE 2025 EDITION OF THE\nCALIFORNIA MECHANICAL CODE, THE 2025 EDITION OF THE\nCALIFORNIA ENERGY CODE, THE 2025 EDITION OF THE\nCALIFORNIA RESIDENTIAL CODE, 2025 EDITION OF THE\nCALIFORNIA GREEN BUILDING CODE AND ADOPTING OTHER\nREGULATIONS RELATING TO BUILDING REQUIREMENTS\nThat the Town Council:\nA.\nMove to open the public hearing, take testimony and close the\npublic hearing\nB.\nDetermine that, pursuant to section 15061(b)(3) of the State\nGuidelines to Implement the California Environmental Quality\nAct (CEQA), the project is exempt from environmental review,\nstating that the activity is covered by the general rule that CEQA\napplies only to projects that have the potential for causing a\nsignificant effect on the environment. Where it can be seen with\ncertainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question,\nthe proposed Code Amendment, may have a significant effect\non the environment, the activity is not subject to CEQA.\nC.\nFind the facts presented within the staff report support the\nrequired findings for approval of an amendment to the Municipal\nCode and adopt the Findings.\nD.\nFind that the proposed Town Ordinance is consistent with the\ngoals and Objectives of the adopted Town of Apple valley\nGeneral Plan and that it is necessary to preserve the health,\nsafety and general welfare of the citizens of Apple Valley.\nE.\nMove to waive the reading of Ordinance No.572 in its entirety\nand read by title only.\nF.\nIntroduce Ordinance No. 572, amending Chapters 8.10, 8.12,
