8.13, 8.14, 8.15, 8.16, 8.18, 8.22 & 8.26 of the Municipal Code\nas it relates to the adoption of the California Code of\nRegulations, Title 24, Parts 1-12.\nG.\nDirect staff to file a Notice of Exemption\n7.2\nINTRODUCE ORDINANCE NO. 573 AMENDING CHAPTER 8.28 OF\nTHE APPLE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE AS IT RELATES TO THE\nINTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE\nThat the Town Council:\nA.\nFind that the proposed adoption of Ordinance No. 573 is not\nsubject to and is Exempt from CEQA, based upon findings under\nCEQA Guidelines, Section 15061 Sub (b)(3) that can be seen\nwith certainty that there is no possibility that the proposed\namendment may have a significant effect on the environment.\nB.\nMove to waive the reading of Ordinance No. 573 in its entirety\nand read by title only.\nC.\nMove to Introduce Ordinance No. 573 amending Chapter 8.28\nas it relates to the International Property Maintenance Code.\nD.\nDirect Staff to file a Notice of Exemption.\n7.3\nGENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT 2025-001 That the Town Council:\nA.\nOpen the public hearing and take testimony;\nB.\nClose the public hearing;\nC.\nMake the Necessary Findings within Town Council Resolution\nNo. 2025-29; and\nD.\nAdopt Town Council Resolution No. 2025-29 Adopting the\nAddendum to the 2009 General Plan Environmental Impact\nReport and Approving GPA No. 2025-001\n8.\n8.1\nREQUEST FOR CROSSWALKS ON KASOTA ROAD AT THE ST.\nMARY’S MEDICAL CENTER\nThat the Town Council:\nA.\nApprove the recommendation for two mid-block crosswalks on\nKasota Road with the associated signing, striping and markings;\nand\nB.\nDirect staff to start the process to amend by Ordinance, the\n“Special Speed Limits” Chapter of Title 12 of the Apple Valley\nMunicipal Code for the proposed speed limit of 35 MPH on\nKasota Road between SR 18 and Kokanee Road.
