F Consideration and possible action to award a contract to R.E. Schultz\nConstruction, Inc. for the Thompson Park Playground Improvements\n(Specifications No. 22/23-07); and authorize the City Manager to execute a\ncontract with R.E. Schultz Construction, Inc., in a form approved by the\nCity Attorney.\nCEQA: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) (Public\nResources Code §§ 21000, et seq.) and CEQA Guidelines (California Code of\nRegulations, Title 14, §§ 15000, et seq.), the City conducted an environmental\nassessment. Based on the environmental assessment, the project was\ndetermined to be categorically exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines § 15303\n(Class 1 – Existing Facilities).\nRecommendation to City Council: 1) Award a contract to R.E. Schultz for the\nProject and authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with R.E. Schultz, in\na form approved by the City Attorney; or 2) Alternatively, discuss and take other\naction related to this item.
