4.\nAdopt a Resolution Authorizing the City of Pomona Housing Authority (PHA) to accept a\ngrant award and receive funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban\nDevelopment (HUD), totaling $492,981\nIt is recommended that the City Council, sitting as the Governing Board of the City of\nPomona Housing Authority take the following actions:\n1) Adopt the following resolution:\nRESOLUTION NO. 2025-105 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, SITTING AS THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE\nCITY OF POMONA HOUSING AUTHORITY APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A\nHOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) PROGRAM GRANT AWARD, TO\nRECEIVE FUNDING TOTALING $492,981, AMENDING THE FY 2025-26 BUDGET\nBY INCREASE REVENUE ESTIMATES, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS\nRegular Meeting Agenda\nOctober 20, 2025\nIN THE SAME AMOUNT\n2) Approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Los Angeles County\nDepartment of Children and Family Services (DCFS) as required for the administration\nof the Foster to Independence (FYI) Program;\n3) Authorize the Executive Director of the Housing Authority or her designee to execute\nthe contracts and other documentation requested for acceptance and implementation\nof the grant award.
