27.\nPitchess Detention Center South Renovation Capital Project Construction\nContract\nRecommendation: Establish the proposed Pitchess Detention Center South\nRenovation Project, Capital Project (CP) No. 8A133 (Project), located at 29340\nThe Old Road in Castaic (5) with a preconstruction budget of $10,000,000.\nApprove an appropriation adjustment to transfer $10,000,000 from the Care\nFirst, Jails Last, CP No. 87733, to the Project, to fund preconstruction activities.\nAuthorize the Director of Public Works to execute a consultant services\nagreement with Lionakis, to provide architectural/engineering services for the\nProject, for an initial not-to-exceed amount of $5,000,000, for the duration of\nthe Project until final acceptance by the County. Authorize the Director to\nsupplement the initial not-to-exceed amount by up to 25% of the original\ncontract amount.
