20.\nTUESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2025\nAs-Needed Language Assistance Services Master Agreements\nRecommendation: Approve and instruct the Director of Public Health to execute\nMaster Agreements (MAs) with 29 qualified vendors selected under a\ncompetitive solicitation process for as-needed language assistance services,\neffective upon date of execution through June 30, 2030. Annually, the Directors\nof Public Health, Health Services and Mental Health will separately provide the\nBoard with a report listing usage of these MAs. Authorize the Director of Public\nHealth to take the following actions: (Department of Public Health) APPROVE\nExecute additional as-needed language assistance services MAs during\nthe ensuing period with additional qualified vendors that submit a\nStatement of Qualifications (SOQ), which meets all the requirements as\noutlined in the Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) for\nas-needed language assistance services released on November 21,\n2024. The Directors of Public Health, Health Services and Mental Health\nwill include these additional MAs in their report.\nExecute amendments to the MAs that add, delete, and/or change certain\nterms and conditions as mandated by Federal, State law, or County\npolicy; extend the term up to five years through June 30, 2035, and\nincrease rates at the Director of Public Health’s discretion; and add\nadditional service categories for vendors that were qualified for additional\ncategories as a result of submitting an additional SOQ as outlined in the\nRFSQ, effective upon date of execution of the amendment.\nExecute change notices to the MAs that authorize modifications to reflect\nadministrative updates, and nonmaterial modifications.\nImmediately suspend or terminate any MA upon issuing a written notice\nto the contractor(s) if the contractor(s) fail to perform and/or fully comply\nwith contract requirements and terminate MAs for convenience by\nproviding a 10-calendar-day advance written notice to the contractor(s).\n(25-5443)\nBoard Letter
