30. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES; AUTHORIZE\nADVERTISEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS; AND RECORD A NOTICE OF EXEMPTION WITH THE LOS\nANGELES COUNTY CLERK AND WITH THE STATE CLEARINGHOUSE FOR PROJECT NO. 1801: MEDIAN\nSTREETSCAPE - CIVIC CORRIDOR, ALONG CARSON STREET (FROM THE I-405 FREEWAY TO GRACE\nAVENUE) AND AVALON BOULEVARD (FROM 220TH STREET TO THE I-405 FREEWAY, AND FROM DEL\nAMO BOULEVARD TO THE SR-91 FREEWAY), PURSUANT TO SECTION 15301 OF THE CALIFORNIA\nENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT GUIDELINES (CITY COUNCIL)\nRECOMMENDED ACTION\n— 1. APPROVE PS&E for Project No. 1801: Median Streetscape - Civic Corridor, along Carson\nStreet (from the I-405 Freeway to Grace Avenue) and Avalon Boulevard (from 220th Street to\nthe I-405 Freeway, and from Del Amo Boulevard to the SR-91 Freeway);\n— 2. AUTHORIZE staff to advertise the work and call for construction bids for Project No. 1801:\nMedian Streetscape - Civic Corridor, along Carson Street (from the I-405 Freeway to Grace\nAvenue) and Avalon Boulevard (from 220th Street to the I-405 Freeway, and from Del Amo\nBoulevard to the SR-91 Freeway);\n— 3. MAKE the California Environmental Quality Act finding that the proposed Project No. 1801:\nMedian Streetscape - Civic Corridor, along Carson Street (from the I-405 Freeway to Grace\nAvenue) and Avalon Boulevard (from 220th Street to the I-405 Freeway, and from Del Amo\nBoulevard to the SR-91 Freeway) is exempt pursuant to Section 15301 of the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act guidelines; and,\n— 4. AUTHORIZE staff to record the “Notice of Exemption” in the office of the Los Angeles\nCounty Clerk and with the State Clearing House at the Governor’s Office of Planning and\nResearch for Project No. 1801: Median Streetscape - Civic Corridor, along Carson Street (from\nthe I-405 Freeway to Grace Avenue) and Avalon Boulevard (from 220th Street to the I-405\nFreeway, and from Del Amo Boulevard to the SR-91 Freeway).
