18.\nChild Abuse Prevention and Early Intervention Program for\nDevelopmentally Disabled Children Sole Source Contract Extension\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Children and Family Services to\nexecute an amendment to the Child Abuse Prevention and Early Intervention\nProgram for Developmentally Disabled Children sole source contract with Alma\nFamily Services. The amendment will extend the current contract term effective\nJanuary 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027, for a total of two years. The\nMaximum Annual Contract Amount (MACA) is $300,000. The aggregate MACA\nis $600,000, financed using 100% Assembly Bill funds. Authorize the Director\nto take the following actions: (Inter-Agency Council on Child Abuse and\nNeglect) APPROVE\nExecute amendments to the contract to meet program needs, and for any\nrevisions required by changes in local, State, and Federal regulations,\nprovided that applicable Federal, State, and County contracting\nregulations are observed, and sufficient funding is available.\nExecute amendments to increase or decrease the MACA up to a total of\n10% per year during the term of the contract to accommodate any\nincrease or decrease in service, provided that sufficient funding is\navailable.\nExecute amendments in instances of assignment and delegation,\nacquisitions, mergers, or other changes in ownership.\nTerminate the contract for contractor’s default, County's convenience, or\ncontractor initiates termination for convenience.
