32.\nSalt and Nutrient Management Plan Update for the Central Basin and\nWest Coast Basin Joint Funding Agreement\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the County Flood Control\nDistrict (District), authorize the Chief Engineer of the District to negotiate and\nenter into a joint funding agreement with the Los Angeles County Sanitation\nDistrict No. 2, City of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, West\nBasin Municipal Water District, the Water Replenishment District of Southern\nCalifornia, the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, and the\nCentral Basin Municipal Water District (1, 2, 3 and 4), which will enable the\nDistrict to provide a contribution of $150,000 to the Water Replenishment\nDistrict of Southern California to complete a data assessment and proposed\nupdates to the Salt and Nutrient Management Plan for the Central Basin and\nWest Coast Basin. Authorize the Chief Engineer to negotiate and enter into\namendments to the joint funding agreement, if necessary, including extensions\nto the term of the agreement, provided the total contribution by the District does\nnot exceed the amount of $172,500. Funding for the agreement is available in\nthe Flood Control District Fund Fiscal Year 2025-26 Budget.
