35.\nTUESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2025\nPandemic Unemployment Assistance and Unemployment Insurance\nAnti-Fraud Program Grant Agreement\nRecommendation: Authorize the District Attorney to accept grant funds and\nenter into a grant agreement with the California Governor’s Office of\nEmergency Services (Cal OES) for the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance\nand Unemployment Insurance Anti-Fraud Grant Program (Program) for grant\nperiod from July 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026, in the amount of $500,000.\nThere is no required County match for this grant. Funding for the Program was\nincorporated into the District Attorney’s Operating Budget for Fiscal Year\n2025-26 as part of the County’s annual budget process. Instruct the Chair to\nsign the Grant Subaward Certification of Assurance of Compliance form\nrequired to complete the grant application. Authorize the District Attorney to\nexecute the grant agreement and serve as Project Director for the Program.\nThis also includes authorization to sign and approve any revisions, subsequent\namendments, modifications, and/or extensions to Cal OES agreements that\nhave no Net County Cost impact to the County, and to apply, submit, and\nexecute all required grant application documents, including assurances and\ncertifications, when and if such future and similar funding becomes available.\n(District Attorney) APPROVE (25-5455)\nBoard Letter
