CC 11. Traffic Signal Battery Backup Installation Project – Project No. T2603 – Award of\nContract to Crosstown Electrical & Data, Inc. for an Amount of $245,395\nStaff Recommendation:\n1. Approve plans and specifications for the Traffic Signal Battery Backup Installation\nProject – Project No. T2603;\n2.\nAward a contract for the Traffic Signal Battery Backup Installation Project – Project\nNo. T2603 to Crosstown Electrical & Data, Inc. as the lowest responsive and\nresponsible bidder in the amount of $245,395 and authorize the City Manager to\nexecute the contract;\n3.\nAuthorize a project contingency amount of $24,540 (approximately 10% of\nconstruction costs) for any unforeseen construction expenses;\n4.\nApprove a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) between the City of Covina and\nSiterep Construction Services, Inc. for project inspection services in the amount of\n$31,500 and authorize the City Manager to execute the PSA; and\n5.\nApprove Resolution CC 2025-111 appropriating $26,365 from available Proposition\nC Fund – Fund Balance for use towards the project.
