Item 51:\nAuthorization to Enter Into and Sign a Cooperative Procurement Contract with 72\nHour LLC, (Doing Business as National Auto Fleet Group) for the Purchase of Class\n4-8 Chassis and Cabs with Related Equipment, Accessories, and Services.\nTotal Estimated Cost of Proposed Action and Funding Source:\nThis action is to approve a Cooperative Agreement for a not-to-exceed $95,153,179 for\nthe City's Heavy Duty vehicles with 72 Hour LLC doing business as National Fleet Auto\nGroup.\nCouncil District(s) Affected: Citywide.\nProposed Actions:\nAdopt the following Ordinance which was introduced on 9/30/2025, Item 51, (Council\nvoted 6-1, Councilmember Moreno-nay, Councilmember von Wilpert-not present,\nCouncilmember Campillo-not present):\n(O-2026-11)\nOrdinance authorizing the Mayor or designee, on the City’s behalf, to enter into and sign a\nCooperative Procurement Contract with 72 Hour LLC (doing business as National Auto\nFleet Group), in an amount not-to-exceed $95,153,179, for the purchase of Class 4-8\nChassis and Cabs with Related Equipment, Accessories, and Services for the City’s\nmedium and heavy-duty fleet as-needed, for a term extending through July 9, 2028, with\nup to three (3) additional one-year options to renew, and related funding actions.\n6 votes required pursuant to Charter Section 99.\nCommittee Actions Taken:\nThis item was heard at the Budget and Government Efficiency Committee meeting on\nSeptember 10, 2025.\nACTION: Motion by Council President Pro Tem Lee, second by Councilmember EloRivera, to recommend Council approval of staff’s proposed actions.\nVOTE: 3-1; Foster III-yea, Lee-yea, Elo-Rivera-yea, Moreno-nay.\nDepartment of General Services: Gina Dulay, (619) 527-7594\nCity Attorney Contact: Markecia Simmons
