G.\nAWARD OF A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO ELECNOR BELCO ELECTRIC, INC.,\nIN THE AMOUNT OF $954,970; APPROVAL OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES\nAGREEMENT WITH Z&K CONSULTANTS FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT\nSERVICES, INSPECTION AND MATERIALS TESTING SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF\n$324,989.10; AND APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES\nAGREEMENT NO. A8620, WITH KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC., A NORTH\nCAROLINA CORPORATION, FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF\n$76,789.31 FOR THE HIGHWAY SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (HSIP) CYCLE 9\nTRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATIONS, FEDERAL-AID PROJECT NO. HSIPLN-5282(049),\nCITY PROJECT NO. 18-05\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Award a construction contract to Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc., a California corporation,\nin the amount of $954,970 for the Highway Safety Improvement Program (Cycle 9),\nFederal Aid Project No. HSIPLN-5282(049), City Project No. 18-05;\n2 Delegate authority to the City Manager or designee to approve and execute\nconstruction contract change orders up to a total amount of $143,245 with all change\norders reported to the City Council;\n3. Approve a Professional Services Agreement with Z&K Consultants, a California\ncorporation, in the amount of $324,989.10 for construction management, inspection\nand materials testing services;\n4. Approve Amendment No. 2, in the amount of $76,789.31, to the Professional\nServices Agreement No. A8620, for a new not to exceed amount of $343,210.31 with\nKimley Horn and Associates, Inc.; and,\n5. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute all necessary documents.
