19.\nAPPROVE CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER: OPERATIONS OF ALHAMBRA\nCOMMUNITY TRANSIT AND SENIOR RIDE – F2M19-34, C2M19-38, M2M25-170\nIn 2019, First Transit was awarded a contract to provide contract transit operations for the\nAlhambra Community Transit (ACT) and Alhambra Senior Ride. The agreement with First\nTransit has been extended multiple times and currently expires in June 2030. During\nFiscal Year 2024-25 there was an increase in revenue hours due to traffic delays;\ntherefore, additional appropriations in the amount of $47,864.81 are required to cover a\nbudget shortfall under the contract. The additional appropriations are necessary to\nprocess final invoices and the close out the FY 2024-25 contracted services.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve Change Order #1 with First Transit Inc.\nfor the Alhambra Community Transit and Senior Ride contract; increase contract C2M1938 by $47,864.81, bringing the total revised contract value to $2,556,950.31, subject to\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney; direct the Finance Director to appropriate\n$47,864.81 from Prop A and Prop C Fund Balances; and, direct staff to undertake the\nsteps necessary to finalize the Council’s action.
